14 Under Contract February 2015
15 Under Contract March 2015
17 Under Contract April 2015

2 Under Contract July 2015

This does not count the 17 Homeowners who withdrew from the market who were unsuccessful in selling, Those homes averaged a list price of $546,000 and above. 7 Homeowners listing expired. Again these are homes that failed to sell.

 

So if you are thinking of moving in 2016. The  2015 Stats above show you  your best

chance of finding a buyer for your home in the Spring Market of 2016 is between

February and April.

Listing your home is best when you are ready to move to your next place!

Joe Jackson is correct, list your home when it is best for you and your lifestyle. However keep in mind because we are so close to Washington DC, and the three military basis, our market is driven by those cycles. If you decide to sell in late June, July and August just know buyer traffic is lower ( much lower) in the summer months here. Always plan six months ahead. Better safe than sorry and paying for two homes.
