Lake Ridge Virginia Real Estate News: The Three S's of Winter Real Estate!

The Three S's of Winter Real Estate!

Best TEXT all day came from one of my seller customers who has a vacant home For Sale in the area.

We got a good amount of snow so I check with her via text.

Realtor and seller must keep an open line of communciation when selling

I hated to ask her to go shovel it, but I know there is an agent who is going to show the house late this afternoon or tomorrow.

She sends back this text she would get over there by mid day. I just received this text.

"Shoveled, Salted and ready to Sell!!!"

Keeping a positive attitude is tough when the home you have listed is sitting empty and we are having a streak of bad weather.

Sellers need to keep in mind, if an agent and their clients cannot get to the home, chances are they will just move on to the next showing. It is so important to have someone who is on the ready to get your house ready to show. Not to mention the liabilty issues if someone falls.

snow removal is critical when your home is for saleStay warm everyone. Things are looking up. We'll be in the 50's by Tuesday and then we melt!
