This year I am thankful to have helped many local Lake Ridge Virginia homeowners make the choice to buy a move-up home. Today, was a big day for one local family whom asked for my help a few weeks ago.
After really listening to what they wanted and needed, it was clear. The search would not be easy. Sometimes when you are looking for the perfect home in the right school district, you must really survey, compare and really explore all your options.
These clients really needed at least two baths on the bedroom level (if not more) and wanted an open airy light filled home with volume ceilingsand really needed a full finished basement walkout basement with a bedroom and full bath.
After looking it became clear. Lot was of number one importance followed by floor-plan, condition and then the potential of a big finished basement in the near future.
One home that I felt met all their needs, did not have a finished basement. That I sent it to them and said, let's just look. Within minutes of being inside, you could tell they both knew it was the home for them. So they wrote an offer, and it took almost a week of negotiations, In the end they are well on their way to owning a magnificent home in the area they wanted to be in.
