Lake Ridge Virginia Real Estate Help For Sellers and Buyers: This Weeks Caller Asked:"How do I find a one level home in Lake Ridge"

Each week, I get calls from folks asking me questions about the real estate market, how much their home is worth, how much can they rent their current home for etc..and etc.

This week's caller that I would like to showcase was the lady who called who asked " Where are the one level homes in Lake Ridge Virginia? Or there any?"

Well my response we have several options for you.

If you are over 55, then we have River Ridge at the Westminster at the end of Clipper Drive. These homes are cluster homes built specifically for folks over fifty five. It is a senior complex of single family homes with two car garages. Prices range in the $400,000 to $500,000 price range. Some are one level living with a loft or full basement. Then we have the older homes in Lake Ridge off the beaten path of Old Bridge Rd.

In the Colby Rd area ( both sides of Old Bridge Rd) we have older homes that would over main level living. The only thing is many of the homes have level changes. Back thirty years ago when the homes were built the builders were not focused on the baby boomer population aging. They were more concerned with addressing their need for what was popular at the time.

Now, as you drive further into Lake Ridge, we have homes built by Sorenson Builders that are ramblers with basements. So they will give you the look and feel of a one level home from the street, yet they will have a basement level. These homes can range in price when they come on the market anywhere from $350,000 up to $500,000

Then we have the custom home sections of Lake Ridge. Such as Russel Rd, and Westridge Subdivsion's Acreage section. Again there are several good examples of homes that offer one level living and all the benefits of that,yet they are two and three level homes. The home at the corner of Tilney Ct is a great example of that. It appears to be a one level home. Well, it is a three level home with five bedrooms, a finished lower level teen or in-law suite and the home boast four full baths and two half baths! So you can never judge a home from what it looks like from the street. The best thing to do is contact a local agent like myself who knows the area, the floorplans and the price ranges. This will save you time and money and a lot of frustration.

Then just outside of Lake Ridge Virginia in the County Center Complex  area. There is a section where MI Builders offered a one level living floor-plans. Check out this home listed by Cindy Fox of  Long and Foster for $429,900. This is one of the newest homes in the area that will offer you one level living, ten foot ceilings and all the luxury you could want.  MLS #PW7829708

If none of these are what you had in mind. Then your next option would be to consider Four Seasons in Dumfries.  This is a spectacuar community that boasts a 21,000 square foot clubhouse, state-of-the-art fitness center, outdoor swimming pool and spa, tennis courts and much more.
