Yesterday, my cell phone rang, it was a long distance number. When I answered, I was surprised no I was shocked when the caller said " Peggy, I am calling your from Chase Bank. I wanted to let you know I am 
the person who has been assigned to your short sale file for 15000 Alaska Rd, Woodbridge, Virginia 22191"
She continued to say, I wish all short sale packages were so complete. I am going to submit your package for approval.
I said..Wow! This is the polar opposite of my experience with Bank of America. Thank you for your call today, I look forward to hearing from you soon. I really, really appreciate the open communication and your contact information!
So I have high hopes I will be able to help this homeowner get his short sale approval request approved quickly and that the buyers who have the offer on the home will be moving soon.

Peggy, We recently have 5 star experience with Chase Bank. They provided mortgage financing for one of our clients in a non-short sale transaction. Their team in Chicago was available and professional and speedy! Not all banks are the same.
Carol, this is a HAFA short sale. The thing is the seller had the HAFA received the HAFA Application several times from the bank and failed to fill out and mail the paperwork back to the bank. If he had, we would have had HAFA Approval by now. So, the good news is the bank called to say they recieved the 103 page fax.
For example the 103 page fax turns up as a PDF on their end so I make sure it is easy for the bank processor to under stand. It had a cover sheet listing the sections attached in the short sale request:
I've learned over the years...make it easy for the processor, make sure the file is complete when it goes in, even if you have to hold off a few days to be able to send it. I've learned you get better results.

Good morning Peggy. Congratulations on getting a response, let alone a good one. I have never closed on a short sale period. I hope you get your approval quickly and find yourself closing easily. Happy holidays.
Thats Great and rare but does happen. I had that happen on a BOA if you can believe that. I to almost fainted. Good luck these short sales are difficult but rewarding.
