I've been writing LakeRidgeVARealEstateNews for a few years now. Blogging is a way for me to connect with folks who are searching for information online with regard to questions they have about selling or buying a home. Most search online because they are not ready to get the third degree from someone who wants to try and sell them something.
I'm one of those people who walks into a retail store to look around and bolts when the sales person pesters me and keeps asking if they can help me. What I'm really thinking is ...."Do I look like I need help? What I would like,is to be able to survey and look around to see what you have to offer and if you have what I need."
So back to my story. Back in January I wrote a blog post called The Top Ten Reasons to List Your Home With Erick and Company I added that video and information to our website at Erick and Company.com
Well to date three homeowners in the area have called me directly from my blog post. I thought you might like to learn what happened to real people here in the area who called for real estate help.
The homeowners of 4206 Forge Drive were told by their mortgage company that short sale was their only option and to call a local Realtor. They started searching online and called. The owner said " I feel like I know you already!" Music to my ears. We listed their house to be sold by Short Sale. That was in March. We have secured short sale approval for the sellers and we will be closing within a few short weeks.
The owners of this total remodeled home were fearful. They had done a lot of work on their home. They asked around to find a good local Realtor. They said they kept hearing about Peggy James, so she decided to Google me to see if she could find some information. The owners said, they knew as soon as they saw the video and our marketing, we were the Realtors for
them. They not only got a full price offer on thier home within thirty days, we helped them buy their three car garage move-up home on acreage. The owners are thrilled!
The owners of 3388 Vineland Place knew they wanted to sell.They had a lot of questions. When I went to meet with them. They said, we've never sold a house before. Their is so much to learn, we don't know what questions to ask. When I was on the Internet looking around, they all seemed like canned websites. Somehow I landed on your blog and I was hooked. I just kept reading all your posts and saw your Top Ten Reasons To Sell Your Home with Erick and Company. That's when I called. This home has Just Been Listed this week. As soon as this sells, the homeowners will be working with us to buy their move-up home.
This is a home that will be coming on the market in a few short weeks. It is currently being staged and owner is adding final touches. This homeowner started her search for a Realtor online. When she called she said "Peggy, I need a good Realtor who is going to work hard for us and after reading your blog and watching your video, I like to meet you and discuss selling our home!" T
