Hi Fred, how true! It is nice to know that even in Florida home inspections are recommended for new homes! Thanks for adding to this post.
I have had home buyers have home inspections done on a new home and once learned at the time of the inspection ( just a few days before delivery) the A/C was not hooked up correctly. Reverse polarity in outlets and just pesky things that can cause issues down the road. Most builders do a terrific job and the county inspections during the process help as well. However another set of trained eyes not related to the sale,gives the buyer peace of mind.
