Man o man, you are not kidding Peggy. We dodged the bullet yesterday. We were supposed to get some here in NY on the NJ border, but I woke up pleasantly surprised to not a single flake.
Peggy
Unreal; that is some serious snow.
I did not know about the gig section on craigs list. Thanks for the post.
Wow... That is some serious white stuff.... You were not kidding!!!!
That is MAJOR! Saw it on the news, but your photos give the real picture. Have fun, stay warm and enjoy the Super Bowl.
Hi Peggy, WOW you guys really got it! We've been lucky for a while, but I hear we are going to get dumped on again next week.
Good Morning Kevin. This snow reminded me of the snows we used to get in upstate New York when I was young. ( I grew up in Ballston Spa, New York) The snow in December was bad, however the conditions here were unreal. You're right you doged a big bullet!
Hi Everyone, today will definately be a cleanup day for all in the Northern Virginia area.
Tom-I'm sure you have seen your fair share of big snow storms. However snow like this is crippling for this area.
Gita- You're welcome. The GIG Section is perfect for anyone who needs a service completed, or for someone who has needs extra work. Just post what you need and people show up!
Barbara- I just want to know who ticked Mother Nature off!
Dick and Dixie- Thanks. It was rough. That said, I just took a early morning walk...it was gorgeous. Plan on staying in most of the day.
Gary- I never thought I say, I'll trade places with someone who lives in Michighan? Today I would!
Thanks for sharing your pictures. It is a beautiful sunny morning in Maryland as we continue to dig snow. Have a special day.
Wow, you got more than your share. Stay Warm!
Hi Ron, the same here. It is a beautiful sunny morning. The air is filled with the smell of wood buring fireplaces, bacon and sausage, and the only sounds are that of the woodpeckers drilling in the tree's.
Peggy even up north we have not had what is been dumped upon the Eastern States and espeical VA and DC. Guess you need to hope for is the power stays on and a good book.
Yes Mother Nature was not in a good mood! I finally have the car dugout, now off to the store for some snacks for the game! Thank God for neighbors with snowblowers.
Hi Peggy - Out here in the desert (where we got 1/2 inch of rain yesterday) we don't realize how much 20-30" of snow is until you see someone trying to dig out. Thanks for sharing the pics. Stay safe and warm!
