That's right folks. Normally you may play phone tag with you busy Realtor as they are in the field doing what they do best, helping people buy and sell real estate. However when a massive snow storm hits...nobody moves. Not even your Realtor.
So this weekend is the perfect opportunity to pick up the phone and call.
If you have been thinking of selling your home or buying one this spring and you have questions or concerns about the process. Chances are excellent your local Realtor will have plenty of time to talk with you. Most full time Realtors have computers at home and can access the MLS System to be able to answer your questions, send you a market snapshot of what's selling, what's not and what opportunities are available to you. Planning ahead is the key to success when buying or selling real estate.
So when cabin fever strikes this weekend. "Instead of turning on the TV and watching old reruns, or giving into baking a big batch of homemade cookies. Pick up the phone and call your Local Realtor and use this snow storm wisely.
Spring Market is just around the corner and whether you are a buyer or a homeowner getting ready to sell, this is the perfect time to call your local Realtor. Both Erick Blackwelder and I will be available for you this weekend.
Don't be shy, I'm only a phone call away.

Let's just hope that the power stays on and that you have consistent internet access. It's amazing how bereft we are with no internet access.
Its a good time to plan for next week too. Assuming you do have power and the internet, you can spend time looking for homes on the MLS for your clients. You'll be prepared once the snow is cleared. The issue is how quickly it will be cleared on the vacant properties.
Hi Vicki, the internet has been awesome all day. However the land line phones have been spotty. I with you, I pray for power so many in the Northern Virginia area do not have power.
Hi Tom, thanks for stopping in this evening. Agreed. Most likley we will all be working home for some time based on the snow totals I've seen. The Vacant listings do present a challenge to the absentee homeowners as well as the REO Agents. Lucky for me I only have one Vacant Listing and the home is Under Contract! How are things in Alexandria?
