Last Friday I got a call from a homeowner who needed to sell their home. Actually it was an investment they have had rented for several years. The owners had tried to rent the home, however they did not have any luck over the past six weeks. They were scared and thought to themselves "How are we going to make ends meet?" You see the house had gone vacant and the mortgage was due.
That's when I stepped in.The news was not good. The home was located off the Rt 1 corridor in Woodbridge VA and the values of like homes that have recently sold were hundreds of thousands less than what they currently owed on the house.
