Lake Ridge Virginia Real Estate Help For Sellers and Buyers: Virginia: Manassas Park: Blooms Crossing

When a local Lake Ridge Virginia couple called to ask questions about selling their townhouse and buying a move-up home, they were full of questions. Three weeks ago, I sat with them in their home to discuss their options.

During our meeting this particular couple had already talked with a lender over the phone and were told what they could afford to hold onto their current home and rent it since they owned more on the townhouse that it was currently worth. So after discussing how I could assist them with renting out their current home, what all the fee's would be and how long I felt it would take, we set up a time to house hunt. All was well until they found the perfect home! Long story short, their offer was not accepted, not because they made a low offer, but because they were not able to get their pre-approval letter from their loan officer by the sellers deadline to review offers.

Disappointed, however not defeated, they continued the search using the first home they lost as the benchmark of what they wanted to own. Well, this week we had success! The Lake Ridge Virginia couple found their dream home priced at $374,900 and will be moving in forty five days to their new home! Best of all, the home they ultimately decided to buy was nicer that the one they lost out on! They will soon be moving to Blooms Corssing in Manassas Park. "The minute they saw the community they knew this was where they wanted to live. Community Schools, close to shopping, less than a mile to the Manassas Park VRE Station." They are so excited to be moving from the townhouse they currently live in. Next we need to get the townhouse rented. Stay tuned for information and photos of that townhome. It will be in Westridge, Manchester Way, and it is GORGEOUS! The rent will be $1950 a month. There is a community in Manassas called Blooms Crossing that seems to be all a buzz these days. The community was constructed in the early 90's and features Single Family homes large and small as well as townhomes, elevator condo's and and huge sense of community. Take  a drive up Manassas Drive towards General Ridge Golf of Manassas Park Elementary and you will begin to see why everyone is fighting to get into Blooms Crossing. The yards are pristine, the grounds well groomed and it's a sidewalk community.

You'll love the wide boulevard type streets. On any given evening you will find kids riding bikes, or people walking the dogs or just chatting with neighbors in the front yards. Take a drive, I think you'll be surprised.

This is a mid range home in Blooms Crossing, some can run as small as 2000 square feet on the first two level up to 3600 square feet on the first two levels. This community has seen it's fair share of Short Sale and Foreclosures homes this year. I have shown homes that are in awesome move in condition to homes like the one here that needs a lot of TLC. Blooms Crossing area just a half mile from the Manassas VRE Station. So if you are searching for a lifestyle where the kids go to neighborhood schools, where there is abundant shopping nearby, where you have easy access to the Prince William Parkway and the VRE Station to get into to DC daily...then take a drive.

Nearby is Signal Hill Park...again the Prince William County park authority does an amazing job keeping with the grounds. You feel like your in the country however there are services all around.
