It is that time of year again, when the leave begin to fall, and we need to prepare our homes and yards for the winter months. Raking leaves, cleaning gutters, sealing windows and doors can be an endless job and sometimes you just do not have the time.
Did you know that you can turn to Craigslist and click on your local area to find people who can help you?
Well all your do is go to Craigslist.org and click on District of Columbia ( Washington DC) then scroll down to the bottom until you see the gigs section.
Here are just a few examples of how we use Craigslist to help with our one acre lot.
- We needed our lawn areated so we just went to Gigs Section and click on the Farm And Garden Service Section. to find someone to help.
- When we need odd jobs done around the house and we need a contractor we go to the Skilled Trade Service Secion.
Keep in mind this is a great place to post an ad if you need to earn extra money for the holidays. Think outside the box:

Offer to Rake Leaves ( earn money for your school club or organization!)

Hand Christmas Decorations and Holiday Light For Local Homeowners

Offer to do Christmas Card Mailings for busy people

Offer to be a personal shopper for busy people
