Gosh,it reminds me of when I started to get back into the dating market in early 2001. I would glance at Online sites to see if there was anyone who peaked my interest.I kept thinking of the possibilities. However, I was afraid, and wasn't sure which Online site to choose. So I tried asking friends to help me with my quest. That didn't go well.
It wasn't unitl I got serious and about what I really wanted and finally, committed myself to the process.That is when I experienced success! By actually signing up, filling out the required information Online, and really stating what I was hoping to find , is when I accomplish my goal.
If I didn't get in the game back in 2001, I would never found m husband Bill. We just celebrated our 6th Wedding Anniversary.
My point is,when I turned to Internet to find what I was looking for, I decided to go with a site that provide the best resources for finding available guys in my local area. I was specific in my search, knowing that I did not want to commute, and wanted to be within a 20 miles of home and set peramiters of what I had in mind.I was specific, yet open minded and flexible. With all my ducks in a row, the process worked and my Online experience was a success in less than six months!
It's the same with Real Estate! You can look at all the houses online, and scroll through the photo's and say to yourself:
- Not In A Million Years!
- To Scruffy Looking!
- To High Maintenance!
- To Much Clutter To See The Real Potential
- Cute...but just not what I'm looking for!
- Ah...that's looks nice, you bookmark it and say "wow I would love to own a house like that!"
- The next day you go back look at your computer to see that cute house you saw and it's gone!Only to realize that another pre-approved home buyer beat you to the house you wanted.
- Note: the same thing happens in Online dating...if you don't commit, step up and get in the game you miss opportunities! The real estate market is at an all time low...however that won't last forever.

- It's most helpful if the Realtor will guide you through the entire process step by step.
- Check to see if the information they provide Online current and relative?
- You will have a better buying experience if you work with someone who is a experienced, someone who has worked in challenging market conditions before and who is up on the newest changes
- Use Google to research what agents work in the area you want to buy. For example if you Google -I want a "Lake Ridge VA Realtor Who Can Help Me" or you can use BING. Bing is a wonderful decision site. For example if you asked" what Buyer Agents work the Lake Ridge VA area." you will find Realtors who work that area.
- It is also important to find a Realtor who can help you align yourself with people who can help you with the buying process.
- By searching Online, many of my clients have stated they felt like they knew me before we even met. With the use of video today's consumer has so much infomation available Online. Do your research and I'm sure you'll find a great Realtor to work with.
- Rememner Buying a home is a big step. Choosing the right Realtor can save you time, money and a lot of stress in the long run.
