Aruba Vacation On The Cheap! It Can Be Done...Just Ask Your Lake Ridge Virginia Realtor How..

Aruba

No phone, no email, just one week of total relaxation. My vacation was wonderful and what made it even more relaxing was knowing that my clients and customers were well taken care of while I was gone. That's the beauty of working with a Real Estate Team  like Erick and Company in Woodbridge VA.There is always someone here to answer your calls and assist you with your real estate needs at all times. When you need help buying or selling in the Woodbridge-Lake Ridge Virginia area call the Realtors who will work hard for you every step of the way.

Given the current state of the economy we opted for a more  economical approach to a vacation this year. My husband Bill and I love sunny destinations.  We normally stay in four or five star high rise hotel. Not this year. We choose a timeshare rental at LaCabana. I have relatives who have stayed there many times and explained it was safe, economical and so we trusted their advice. We rented a one bedroom unit for $850.00 for the week! Yes you read that right $850 for  the week! The high rise hotel was going to cost $4500 for the same  week not including airfare or food.  The airfare for two of us was less than $800.00. That was for non-stop flights from United Air out of Dulles Airport.  Food, drinks and a Jeep for exploring the island for the week were less than a $1000. So my husband and I were able to have a gorgeous week in 86* weather at the LaCabana Resort in Aruba for less than the cost of just a room in a high rise hotel at the end of the island. What I liked best about  The LaCabana Resort was  they have one of the largest pool complexes on the island, and the resort fronts Eagle Beach with gorgeous white sand and lots of thached huts to protect from the hot sun. They have music daily, happy hours every afternoon, with two for one drinks from 4-6pm. If that's not enough they have siz  BBQ Pits on either side of the pool. We found a large grocery store called  Ling & Son's Super Center . We purchased food for the week and things to BBQ. In the evening hours folks would gather near the BBQ grills. It was an amazing sense of community, everyone sharing seasonings, and condiments and laughing. Just having a wonderful time around the pool watching the sunset. I can tell you this is was one of the most relaxing vacations I've had in years. This explains why so many folks return year after year to the LaCabana Resort. The staff was wonderful, the place was clean (older but clean). The most interesting person I met was a man who is a 101 years old. He was full of energy, walking all about the pool deck visiting with fellow resort owners and tourists all week. He and his wife have  been coming to the LaCabana for 30 years. This year they were celebrating their 70th Wedding Anniversary poolside! He was sporting a tshirt that read King of Aruba. If that's not a testimony for going to Aruba I don't know what is.

So don't let this economy spoil your vacation rituals.  If you need a little R & R and are craving the calming effect of blue water...it's time to book a trip to Aruba. Just Do It. From what I was told, there is never a bad day in Aruba. It's always sunny and warm. I look forward to returning next year.
